Dear Heroes,
From 2022 through January 2025, Lil Heroes World managed the Lil' Heroes and Lil' Villains NFT collections. We are incredibly grateful for the support our community showed these little heroes. Visual artist Edgar Plans initially designed the NFT collection alongside Exile and Curatible with the main goal of ensuring the longevity of these unique characters. Each piece is a truly unique work of art. The characters in the Lil' Heroes Universe will endure over time and remain an integral part of Edgar Plans' career.
Due to the difficult circumstances impacting the NFT world, we regret to announce that Lil' Heroes Universe and its associated Training Camp project, as well as all related community operations, are now closed.
Rest assured: The art has not disappeared. Although the Lil' Heroes Universe and Training Camp projects have ceased operations, we took steps to ensure that each Lil' Hero and Lil' Villain NFT remains intact and decentralized and that you are able to maintain control of the Lil' Heroes and Lil' Villains artwork in your wallets after the closure took place.
All Lil' Heroes and Lil' Villains NFTs still exist and will always remain secure on the blockchain, ensuring their authenticity and ownership are permanently protected, and you will still be able to buy and sell them through secondary channels as usual. However, the image associated with your NFT will only be hosted on our servers until December 4, 2029. After this date, we cannot guarantee its availability. To ensure you always have access to your NFT's image, we strongly recommend downloading it from IPFS servers or other locations of your preference prior to that date.
Training Camp
All Lil' Heroes and Lil' Villains NFTs that were still enrolled in Training Camp as of January 7, 2025 have been returned to the respective wallets from which they were enrolled.
An exclusive reward was sent to the top 60 participants on the Training Camp leaderboard as of 12pm ET on December 11, 2024 who provided their information via their profile page by 12pm ET on December 17, 2024. Congratulations to all the winners!
The "Burn Me To Be Real!" Project:
As a further expression of our deep gratitude for the effort, loyalty, and support of the people who contributed to making this collection an important part of the living history of the NFT world, we offered our community the opportunity to participate in one final collaboration with the artist Edgar Plans and his studio: The "Burn Me To Be Real!" project.
During this event, you had the opportunity to burn your Lil' Hero or Lil' Villain NFT in exchange for a unique physical piece printed on canvas and hand-signed by the artist Edgar Plans himself. Our goal here was to provide a snapshot of how we wanted to recognize your ownership of Lil' Heroes and Lil' Villains NFTs and your participation in our community.
Unfortunately, the period during which you had the opportunity to elect to burn your NFT in exchange for a print has now expired. For those that ordered a print during the election period, please be patient as the prints are created solely on an on-demand basis and there will be many orders to fulfill.
Please note that if you elected to burn any of your Lil' Hero or Lil' Villain NFTs, you no longer own the NFT itself.
For any inquiries regarding the status and/or shipping of Training Camp rewards or the status and/or shipping of the print of your burned Lil' Hero or Lil' Villain NFT, please contact Edgar Plans' team through the following email: creativeshedstudio@gmail.com
Once again, we deeply appreciate your support and understanding throughout this journey.
Thank you,
Lil' Heroes Team
